Program Emphasis

The Ed.D. program has a concentration in community colleges  and in P-12 education. The former develops leaders in the California Community College System, the largest in the nation. It is a three-year program with diverse, highly engaged faculty who work to transform the educational system through an emphasis on developing a just, equitable, and inclusive educational environment. There is also a Master of Science in Higher Education Program with an emphasis in student affairs.

Courses with Community College Emphasis

All courses in the Ed.D. program emphasize community colleges, and there is a community college certificate program for master’s students.
